Anchor in Motion

The Managed Recovery Ecosystem

An AI companion. Human connection. A phone that earns its freedom back. Built for the year after treatment — the year that decides everything.

A glowing anatomical heart with a golden core, ringed by translucent ice-blue holographic panels on a deep navy background

Four systems. One mission.

One connected system for the year after treatment — a companion that checks in every day, a signal layer shared only with consent, an interface you can feel instead of a score you have to read, and a network of people who have been exactly where you are.

01

The Anchor

The AI Companion

An AI companion that lives on the patient's own managed phone — daily check-ins, coping tools for the next ten minutes, and a presence at 2 AM, when every human has gone home. A companion, not a therapist. It still shows up after relapse.

Heart

Signal Layer

A biometric and behavioral signal layer that produces a Daily Stability Score for the care team — built only with the patient's consent, set up with their counselor in treatment. The patient never sees a number. Heart supports the team; it does not predict anyone's future.

Living Pulse

Seasonal Stability UI

A wordless, seasonal interface that mirrors how things are going — golden summer when stability is high, leaves gathering on the screen as it falls, winter when it's hardest. No scores, no charts. You feel it before you could ever read it.

Bridge

Members-Only Network

A verified, members-only recovery social network, seeded by Anchor graduates — sponsors, rides to meetings and work, people who have been carried and now carry others. No public directory. Every profile field is opt-in, and pseudonyms are welcome.

A glowing tree whose canopy moves through the seasons — golden summer, amber autumn with falling leaves, spring green, and pale winter frost
Living Pulse. Golden summer, steady and thriving. Spring growth, progressing well. And when the freeze comes, the screen says so without a single word — and support moves first.

The Hardware

Recovery hardware, earned back.

A managed device, issued in treatment and kept for a full year. It starts locked down — no browser, no social media, no high-risk contacts — and opens across six milestones, until at one year the management comes off and it's simply their phone.

The Restoration

Recovery on Anchor isn't restriction forever. The phone opens in stages — privileges earned for staying the course, the way contingency management has always worked — and each milestone lands where it's needed most. At one year, the anchor becomes a symbol, not a limitation.

Day 0 · In Treatment

Moored

The phone is issued in treatment. The Digital Sanctuary: daily check-in, facility support, and 988/911 — nothing else. The chain starts empty.

30 Days

First Anchor

The first reward is people: calling and messaging with counselor-approved contacts, music and podcasts, and the camera.

60 Days · Discharge Day

The Crossing

Maps and transit, ride apps, calendar, email — the logistics of sober living, switched on the exact day they walk out.

90 Days

Open Water

Banking and money apps, job boards and work apps — and the digital 90-day chip, the milestone recovery culture already celebrates.

6 Months

Steady Course

The wider world, filtered: a web browser with gambling and adult categories still blocked, and a limited App Store in counselor-approved categories.

9 Months

Near Shore

Social media and food and delivery apps — the highest-risk categories, opened last, and only after a counselor conversation first.

1 Year · Release

Golden Anchor

Full release. Off Jamf, off Apple Business — a normal iPhone, and it's theirs. Their recovery data goes where they choose: keep it, export it, or delete it. Anchor stays on as an app, for as long as they want it.

Milestones are the default pace — patient and counselor can speed up or pause any stage, together. Gambling stays blocked until the one-year release. And 988 and 911 are never an unlock — they are on from minute one, on every screen, at every stage.

⚓ The Anchor · Horizon

The care team stays the care team.

Anchor doesn't pair anyone with a stranger, and it doesn't monitor anyone from an office somewhere. Through Horizon, the facility's own peer support and aftercare staff see the check-ins and support requests of the patients who consented to share them — and do the following up themselves.

Daily Check-Ins, Seen

Every day starts with one question — How are you arriving today? Horizon shows who's checked in, who missed, and each patient's milestone, so a quiet day gets noticed while it's still just a quiet day.

Support Requests, Followed Up

When a patient taps I need support, the request lands with their own facility team — sponsor, counselor, facility support, or a quiet flag. Anchor supplies the tools. Your team supplies the people.

Consent-First, Always

Data appears only for patients who consented under 42 CFR Part 2 — and if a patient revokes consent, their data leaves the view. Every view of a patient's data is logged. The platform is being built toward HIPAA and Part 2 compliance, with encryption and audit trails from the start.

Crisis Never Waits for a Dashboard

Crisis language in Anchor opens the fixed 988/911 screen immediately — before any AI reply, every time. The AI never answers a crisis. Horizon is a follow-up tool, not the crisis path.

Try the check-in

This is the first screen of every day.

One honest minute. Four ways to answer — and the fourth one doesn't open a chat. It goes straight to the fixed crisis screen, with 988 and 911 in front of everything. Try it the way a patient would.

The crisis bar sits at the bottom of every screen, at every milestone. It is never locked, never earned, never an unlock.

A person sitting alone by a window late at night, lit by the warm glow of a phone, with the first light of dawn on the horizon
Recovery doesn't fail during treatment.
It fails in the moments between.

Treatment is 24/7 care. Discharge is zero. People walk out into the same people, places, and triggers — and at 2 AM, when relapse actually happens, everyone who promised to show up is asleep. That's the gap Anchor is built for: not another app to check in the morning, but a presence in the moment itself — and it still shows up after relapse, when almost nobody else does.

The Pilot

Pilots before promises.

Anchor is a working prototype, pre-revenue, and honest about it. The next step isn't a launch — it's one facility, one 90-day pilot, and results shared with the partner first.

Who it's for

Patients in their first 90 days after discharge — the window where the discharge cliff does its damage — onboarded in treatment, on the Anchor phone, with their counselor part of the setup.

How it's priced

B2B, per patient per month — $75–$120 across tiers for a 12-month term, the managed phone bundled in. Medicaid volume comes through the CMS ACCESS model's SUD track, opening April 1, 2027, via a clinical partner.

What gets measured

Endpoints agreed with the partner before the pilot starts — check-in consistency, support requests answered, retention and readmission at 30 and 90 days. Measured on the partner's terms, reported to the partner first.

Run the pilot with us.

We're seeking 3–5 clinical pilot sites. If you run a facility, an aftercare program, or a plan that loses people in the first 90 days — Anchor was built for your patients, by someone who has sat in their chair and worked on your side of the desk.
